Pizza Chef – Hiring Requirements We are looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our upcoming pizza/QSR restaurant. What we are looking for * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pizza making/QSR/fast-food kitchen. * Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, sauce, cheese, toppings and baking. * Should be able to independently develop and standardize pizza recipes. * Experience with commercial pizza ovens is preferred. * Good understanding of food costing, portion control, consistency and hygiene. Our Concept The restaurant will have a slightly different menu, including: * 🍕 Samosa Chaat Pizza – our signature concept * 🧀 Amul Cheese Pizza * 🍟 Samosa Poutine * 🍟 Different varieties of fries, including peri-peri and cheese fries * 🥤 Premium shakes such as Biscoff and Brownie shakes * Other unique pizza and snack combinations First Month – Recipe Development The chef will initially work with us for approximately one month before the restaurant opens. The main responsibility during this period will be to: * Develop and test our pizza recipes. * Perfect the Samosa Chaat Pizza. * Develop pizza dough, sauce and cheese combinations. * Test different toppings and recipes. * Develop recipes for fries, poutine and shakes. * Standardize ingredients, quantities, preparation methods and cooking times. * Help create recipes that are tasty, consistent and commercially viable. * Conduct multiple trials and finalize the restaurant’s core menu. After Opening The restaurant is planned to open from the following month. The chef will then be responsible for maintaining: * Consistent taste and quality. * Kitchen hygiene and food safety. * Proper portion control. * Staff training for the finalized recipes. * Smooth kitchen operations. * Minimizing food wastage.
